Joey’s strong design skills are evident in both the projects he manages and in those where he acts as lead designer. Joey is a Registered Architect, Senior Project Manager, and Certified Passive House Designer. He joined the firm in 2014 and since then has completed projects including our Boerum Hill Townhouse, Greek Revival Rowhouse, and Brooklyn Heights Passive Rowhouse, as well as various non-residential projects and concepts. Joey enjoys working at a range of scales, from furniture pieces to multifamily, mixed-use projects, including Engine 16, a 2019 Buildings of Excellence Grant recipient.
He received his B.S. in Architecture and Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan. During his studies, he explored a variety of interests including competitive rowing and product design. His interest in small details in design and relationship to place has carried into highly customized spaces in his work.
